Makes 2 servings
1/2 cup coconut water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
1 scoop whey or plant protein of your choice
1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder
2-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
1 cup frozen pineapple or mango
In a blender, combine the coconut water, lemon juice, avocado, protein powder, cayenne, ginger and pineapple or mango. Blend and serve in 2 tall glasses.
